Taiwan Cell Manufacturing Company cooperates with Hitachi Corporation of Japan to design a cell factory that complies with the International Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice (PIC/S Good Manufacturing Practice, PIC/S GMP). This new GMP factory is expected to be completed in Q2 of 2025 and officially operational in Q4 of 2025. It will be the first PIC/S GMP commercial production base for genetically modified cells in Taiwan.

Taiwan Cell Manufacturing Company is located on the fifth floor of the Second Biotechnology Building in Zhubei Biomedical Technology Park. Excluding the common areas of the building, the factory covers an area of ​​about 1,000 square meters. It is planned to be used for lentiviral vector (LV) production of genetically modified cell products, quality control testing laboratory, process and method development laboratory, etc.
